Cross the town of Bonassola staying on the elevated road to the bottom (14 m asl). Arrival in Framura (8 m asl). Along the way there are numerous rest areas with benches, bars and kiosks.

Going west is the tunnel that once was the railroad and since 2015 has been restored to make it a pedestrian and cycling path.In summer, walking the tunnel joining Levanto and Bonassola and then Framura is refreshing; in fall, also on sunny days, you will need a sweater.. The 2.6 km long tunnel to Bonassola is interspersed with openings overlooking the sea.

We cycled from Levanto to Framura. Cost from Sensafreni bike hire was reasonable for a half day of cycle hire and the bikes were city bikes perfectly suited to the flat track out to Framura. Feedback di Stefania Leveratto (12/20): "Oggi abbiamo sfruttato la giornata di sole per fare la ciclopedonale che da Levanto arriva a Framura, passando per Bonassola.Bambini in bici, adulti a piedi. Percorso totale (andata e ritorno) di circa 13 km. Temperatura ottimale sia all'aperto sia dentro le gallerie (felpa e kway sono stati sufficienti anche in quelle più lunghe).
